Yin Colors

Yin energy is the passive energy and have elements of dreaminess about them. Colors like blue, white, green, purple, black and pink are said to have yin energies. If you home office is full of creative and dream-inducing objects, Feng Shui may call for you to get rid of some of them and use Yang colors in their place. The Yang energy will help you get in the right spirit to do some work and be enthusiastic.

Yin colors are the colors that bring about healing and relaxation and are as follows:

Blue: calm and soothing. It reflects love as it heals and relaxes. Creates a feeling of peace and trust. Since it is the color of the sea and sky, Feng Shui associates it with adventure and exploration. Navy blue is the color of intellect and wisdom.

Black: symbolizes money and income. It is great for careers, especially when combined with metal. It is the color of emotional protection and power.

Purple: excellent for physical and mental healing and is associated with spiritual awareness.

White: represents poise, confidence, and purity. Feng Shui uses this color mostly in combination with gold or silver to generate and calm atmosphere.

Green: is the color of growth. Use green whenever you want to experience inspiration, adventure, and change. You should incorporate green whenever you feel stuck or stagnant. Avoid green if you have trouble focusing. Stay away from green if you are struggling with cancer as green stimulates growth.

Pink: is the color of romance and soothes the energy. Use pink whenever you want to feel loved, nurtured and cherished. Avoid pink if others take advantage of your generosity.
