Yang Colors

Yang energy is the active energy. Yang colors provide you the enthusiasm or the positive energy required to do something or be motivated. Yang colors are as follows:

Yellow: represents sunbeams, warmth, motion, cheerfulness and friendliness. It boosts morale and lends cheer. It is life-giving and energizing. However, prolonged exposure to large amounts of intense yellow can cause anxiety. Use a muted tone of yellow such as honey, wheat, or goldenrod in the bedroom if you suffer from depression or health setbacks.

Orange: strengthens your concentration. You might use this color whenever your creative well runs dry. It is used to give you a sense of purpose. Orange is the color of organization and draws people together in the spirit of harmony. Incorporate orange whenever you have diverse group gatherings.

Brown: is the color of stability. It affords a sense of safety, protection, and security. Use brown whenever you want to foster healthy relationships. Stay away from brown if you have difficulty starting projects or feel as if you are stuck in a rut.

Red: is the color of passion, excitement and anger. Use red whenever you want an energy boost. If you seek a more passionate love life do not paint your entire bedroom red, otherwise you will not be able to sleep. Instead paint the room an earthier color such as chocolate brown and add burgundy accents. Avoid red in places that get lots of sunlight or where arguments are prone to break out.
